Occupying Wall Street: The Inside Story of an Action That Changed America is Book Award Nominee
“Occupying Wall Street: The Inside Story of an Action That Changed America” written by “Writers for the 99%” and published by Haymarket Books, might leave you thinking it will have a dreadful written-by-committee tone, but it works quite well. This account of the heady, exciting first two months of Occupy Wall Street is an official nominee of Left Eye On Books Independent Reader awards.
According to Publisher’s Weekly, Haymarket Books recent 43% increase in sales was due to Occupy and it’s strategy with connecting directly with Occupy members.
Left Eye On Books is doing its book giveaway on its Facebook page starting on Tuesday, May 8th. We will give away some of the most coveted books published by the independent press on it’s Facebook page. That includes a copy of “Occupying Wall Street: The Inside Story of an Action That Changed America.”
