I just now wanted to find something online that I could bookmark, referencing the information provided in Gordon’s book about the UN’s criticism (in very blunt language) of the Canadian government’s extinguishment approach to treaty making with First Nations people and had zero success. Gordon’s book (footnote #55 for the chapter titled “Empire At Home”) mentions the “Indigenous Network of Economics and Trade.” I was after a document that he notes can be found on that org’s website (“Report on Canada’s Self-Government and Land Rights Policies”) . On page 7 of that doc, there is a mention of the UN’s criticism. That’s the information I’d like to find and bookmark.

After failing to find the organization, which some refer to as the “Indigenous Network on Economies and Trade,” I came to realize that I don’t know the actual name of the org and, while I see it (both variants) mentioned all over place, I can’t find the org. THIS. IS. SO. EXHAUSTING!

I’d just email the author, but, alas, I see no email address for him anywhere. But I’m really only interested in the report (including the UN’s criticism) or the UN’s criticisms, which, I suppose, I could find. Eventually.
